BOOK 97 F-aE 410 <br />Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed the changes to proposed <br />Ordinance 2 as directed by the Board at the February 13, 1996 <br />hearing. Only Sections 18 and 19 of the proposed Ordinance have <br />been revised to follow the Professional Service Advisory <br />Committee's recommendation to allow all commercial vehicles with a <br />rated capacity of 1 (one) ton of less to be parked in residential <br />areas, and providing an exception for "on-call" emergency service <br />tow trucks. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Macht stated that he is opposed to the section of <br />this ordinance that allows commercial vehicles to park in <br />residential areas and felt that there are many residential <br />individuals who will be impacted by having large, ungainly vehicles <br />parked in their neighborhoods. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board, by a 4-1 vote <br />(Commissioner Macht opposed) adopted Ordinance 96-06 <br />Amending the Following Chapters of the Land <br />Development Regulations (LDRS): Chapter 901, <br />Definitions; Chapter 902, Administrative Mechanisms; <br />Chapter 910, Concurrency Management System; Chapter <br />911, Zoning; Chapter 912, Single Family Development; <br />Chapter 913, Subdivisions and Plats; Chapter 914, <br />Site Plan Review and Approval Procedures; Chapter <br />9151 Planned Development (P.D.) Process and <br />Standards for Development; Chapter 930, Stormwater <br />Management; Chapter 934, Excavation and Mining; <br />Chapter 953, Fairshare Roadway Improvements; Chapter <br />954, Off -Street Parking; Chapter 971, Regulations <br />for Specific Land Use Criteria; Chapter 972; <br />Temporary Uses; and Providing for Repeal of <br />Conflicting Provisions, Codification, Severability <br />and Effective Date. <br />FEBRUARY 27, 1996 16 <br />
