The School <br />Board advised that their cost analysis indicated the cost to the <br />School District would be a little over $5,000,000. If the School <br />Board were to utilize those properties, they would expect the <br />County to turn the properties over to them at no expense. The <br />School Board would move out of their existing quarters within 2 <br />years in exchange for no long-term debt. The County's appraisal on <br />those properties was $775,000. The School Board expected the <br />County to eliminate their annual payment for their present <br />facilities of $45,000 and to release to the School Board the <br />$446,500 received from annual racetrack revenue. The financial <br />impact on the County would be $491,000 annually. The School Board <br />also indicated that the historical grant would be of no value to <br />them. As a second alternative, the School Board proposed that they <br />vacate the building to the west of the Administration Building <br />within 2 years and exercise another option of moving into a totally <br />900K oaf 1 <br />FEBRUARY 27, 1996 27 Face � <br />
