("EOC") is a non-profit corporation in <br />Indian River County. Since the EOC receives Community Services Block Grant funds, pursuant to 42 USC <br />§9910, the EOC must have 1/3 of the members of its board who are elected officials or their representatives. <br />On March 8, 2022, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") reappointed Jennifer <br />Proper, Teddy Floyd and Jeanette Anderson and appointed Leonard Frankel to the EOC. On November 21, <br />2022, Indian River County received the attached letter requesting the appointment of Nancy McCurry to the <br />EOC to replace Jennifer Proper, whose term expired in October 2022. <br />RECOMMENDATION. <br />The County Attorney recommends that the Board appoint Nancy McCurry to the the Economic Opportunities <br />Council of Indian River County, Inc. <br />C.
