These <br />orders are received several times a year, usually because <br />of a change in value, and in some cases, the tax should not <br />have been levied at all. <br />According to the guidelines established in the Florida <br />Statutes, Chapter 195.106, there is a provision whereby <br />taxing districts can comply with the order by authorizing <br />the tax collector to make a refund from undistributed funds <br />held for that taxing authority. This is the way we wish to <br />handle the refunds and hereby request that you furnish us <br />with a written authorization as soon as possible. <br />Enclosed, please find a complete breakdown for each refund <br />and copy of the approval by Department of Revenue. <br />With pers.,nal regards, I am <br />Sincerely yours, <br />Gene E.
