RESOLUTION NO. 80- 59 <br />WHEREAS, Indian river County has contracted to purchase <br />from Edmund N. Ansin and Ronald M. Ansin the following described <br />property: <br />All of Tract 9 leas the East 15 acres thereof <br />and the West 10 acres of Tract 16 and the North <br />5 acres of the East 8.48 acres of the West 18.48 <br />acres of Tract 16, all in Section 23, Township <br />33 South, Range 39 East, according to the last <br />general plat of lands of Indian River Farms <br />Company as recorded in the office of the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court, St. Lucie County, Florida, <br />and recorded in Plat Book 2, page 25, now being <br />located in Indian River County, Florida, less <br />and excepting all rights of way for Oslo Road <br />and drainage canals. <br />and <br />WHEREAS, under threat of condemnation, a negotiated purchase <br />price was arrived at between the parties; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County agreed, as part of the purchase <br />to create a twenty -foot (20 ft) buffer strip over the West twenty <br />(20) feet of the above described property, which strip shall <br />include fencing and appropriate hedging; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the Board <br />agrees, in conjunction with the purchase of the above described <br />property, to establish a buffer strip over the West twenty (20) <br />feet of the above described property for the purposes of fencing <br />and hedging the above described property creating a buffer <br />between the County purchased property and the remaining land <br />holdings of Edmund N. Ansin and Ronald M.
