R E S O L U T I O N <br />o. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County intends to construct, <br />operate and maintain certain sewer treatment facilities, <br />pursuant to tr- 201 plan as amended, subject to receiving <br />adequate state and federal approvals and funding, and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County possesses the <br />necessary legal, financial, institutional, and managerial <br />resources to construct, operate and maintain sewage treat- <br />ment works and related facilities, and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has limited collection <br />transmission treatment and disposal facilities existing that <br />meet state and federal requirements, and <br />WHEREAS, the recently completed 201 facilities plan <br />entitled "Indian River County 201 Facilities Plan" prepared <br />in accordance with final construction grant regulations, <br />40CFR, Part 35, Sub -part E, dated January, 1980, and amended <br />by Addendum No. 1, dated June 9, 1980, recommends the construc- <br />tion of collection, transmission, treatment and disposal facili- <br />ties, which will satisfy state and federal requirements, <br />NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Board <br />hereby indicates its approval of the 201 Facilities Plan as <br />amended and the County intends to construct, operate, and main- <br />tain such facilities in accordance with state and federal require- <br />ments, subject to the facilities being approved and adequately <br />funded by state and federal governments. <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the 18th day of <br />June , 1.9 80 . <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,/FLORIDA <br />By 4�if/'CG� z41_/)-_). <br />Willard W.
