RESOLUTION NO. 80-62 <br />REAFFIRMING ACTION TAKEN IN RESOLUTION 80-53 <br />v <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />resolve: <br />1. That a petition has been filed by Robert I. Gale with this Board <br />requesting the County Commission to renounce and disclaim any right of the <br />county and the public in and to all lands or interest acquired for street, <br />road or highway purposes in that area described hereafter: <br />The platted right-of-way and traffic island forming the northeast <br />corner of Block H, Indian River Heights, Unit 4 as recorded in Plat Book 6, <br />Page 86, Indian River County Public Records. Lying at the intersection of <br />2nd Street and 14th Avenue, and contiguous to Lots 1, 8 and 9. The Board has <br />determined that none of the street above described now constitutes or was <br />acquired for a state or federal highway and none is located within the limits <br />of any incorporated municipality and the Board has declared that a public <br />hearing would be held to consider the advisability of granting the request and <br />that a public hearing would be held before this Board in the City Council Chambers, <br />City Hall, Vero Beach, Florida at 10:00 A.M. on the 4th day of June, 1980 at <br />which time, persons interested may appear and be heard. <br />2. This Board did publish notice of such public hearing two times on <br />the 21st day of May, 1980 and the 28th day of May, 1980, in the Vero Beach Press <br />Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in said county,said publication being <br />at least two weeks prior to the date stated for the public hearing as will more <br />fully appear by Proof of Publication thereof filed in the minutes of this meeting. <br />At the time and place stated, the Board did hold the advertised public hearing and <br />all persons interested were heard and this Board did determine that the street <br />described above is not located within the limits of any incorporated municipality <br />and was not acquired for and is not now being used for state or federal highways. <br />3. The Board of County Commissioners does herewith renounce and disclaim <br />any right of the county and the public in and to the streets described as follows: <br />The platted right-of-way and traffic island forming the northeast corner <br />of Block H, Indian River Heights, Unit 4, as recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 86, <br />Indian River County public records. Lying at the intersection of 2nd Street <br />and 14th Avenue and contiguous to Lots 1, 8 and 9. Less and excepting a 10 ft. <br />easement measured 5 feet on either side of the center line of Block II, for <br />drainage and utility purposes and does herewith vacate, abandon, discontinue <br />WiGb04PAGE 2385 <br />
