of <br />El <br />i <br />80 - 85 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />® OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 80- 84 Indian River County <br />honored the Department of Transportation, District 4, for its <br />help in the construction of the 17th Street Bridge; and <br />^>Q WHEREAS, the $9,400,000.00 facility was awarded and con- <br />structed by GULF CONTRACTING, INC.; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of the 17th Street Bridge <br />proceeded without delay and was completed in a timely fashion <br />according to the Contract and with consideration for ecology and <br />environmental concern; and <br />WHEREAS, MR. HENRY DRAWDY was the Superintendent of <br />construction for GULF CONTRACTING, INC. during the building of <br />the 17th Street Bridge; and <br />WHEREAS, MR. HENRY DRAWDY, on behalf of GULF CONTRACTING, <br />INC., completed the construction ahead of schedule and worked <br />closely with local governmental and local environmental agencies; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, the the Board, on <br />behalf of itself and its citizens, honors GULF CONTRACTING, INC. <br />and its Superintendent, MR. HENRY DRAWDY, for their professional <br />construction of the 17th Street Bridge, efforts in dealing with <br />local governmental and environmental interests and completion <br />of the badly needed 4,730 foot causeway prior to the Contract <br />date. <br />Said Resolution shall be <br />Auaeffective as of the 27th day <br />f ust , 1980. <br />Chairma , ounty Commis n rs <br />
