•o <br />40 <br />40 <br />El <br />•• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80 -- 86 <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COUN'T'Y COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, has recognized the need to provide for <br />orderly growth and management as contemplated by the passage <br />of the Florida Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida has recognized the <br />need to assist local governments in meeting the requirements <br />of this act, and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has charged the <br />Department of Community Affairs with administering the Local <br />Government Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, requests the Department of Community Affairs to <br />include Indian River County's application among those request- <br />ing financial assistance from the local Government Comprehensive <br />Planning Assistance Program for the 1980-1981 program year. <br />Furthermore, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County indicates its commitment to comply with the appropriate <br />and applicable state and local laws and regulations for the <br />administration of the program, including, but not limited to, <br />necessary matching funds, funding only eligible planning <br />activities, etc., which are more fully described in Chapter <br />9 B-5, Florida Administrative Code. <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the <br />27th day of August <br />ATTEST: <br />Freda :: nighty, C1er <br />, 1980. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By <br />Wijjard W,. , i ebe t, Jr. , <br />Chairman <br />
