RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 99 <br />WHEREAS, under the current by-laws and state laws, <br />the municipalities within Indian River County are entitled <br />to one municipal representative on the Treasure Coast <br />Regional Planning Council, and <br />WHEREAS, historically, municipal representatives <br />have been recommended to the Treasure Coast Regional Planning <br />Council on a rotating basis, and <br />WHEREAS, as each municipality's turn comes up to <br />serve, that municipality has a right to either accept or <br />decline the responsibility. In the event a municipality <br />declines to serve either as primary or alternate representa- <br />tive, then the next municipality in line is given the opportunity <br />to designate a representative to serve, and <br />WHEREAS, the above procedure has historically worked <br />well within Indian River County and shall remain in effect until <br />otherwise amended, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following <br />municipal rotation shall be in effect: <br />Vero Beach <br />Indian River Shores <br />Fellsmere <br />Orchid <br />Sebastian <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, based on.the above rotation, <br />Vero Beach for the year 1980-81. shall designate the primary <br />municipal representative and Indian River Shores shall designate <br />the alternate to serve on the Treasure Coast Regional Planning <br />Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each municipality is <br />requested upon receipt of a copy of this Resolution to indicate <br />
