RESOLUTION NO. 80-128 <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA are requesting its Congressional and Senatorial <br />Representatives to aid in the COUNTY'S Pre -Application for funds <br />under the Community Development Block Grant Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has successfully closed out <br />grants for three sucessive years and has shown substantial <br />determination, having submitted Pre -applications for Fiscal Years <br />1978, 1979 and 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, in each of the above mentioned Pre -applications, <br />Indian River County was close to the threshold of funding but <br />was not invited to submit formal applications; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />petitions its Senators and Representatives to inquire as to <br />the progress of Indian River County's Pre -application; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board respectfully requests <br />that its Congressional and Senatorial Representatives inquire <br />as to the process by which communities are selected under the <br />"Small Cities Program", and determine whether Indian River <br />County has the same criteria applied to its Pre -applications. <br />************ <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the 3rd <br />day of December , 1980. <br />BOARD OF C UNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIA ER COUNTYYY,�LORIDA <br />By, i <br />P trick B.
