RESOLUTION NO. 81-5 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE PUBLIC <br />PARTICIPATION PROCEDURES TO BE <br />EMPLOYED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSION <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY IN CONNECTION <br />WITH ADOPTION OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PURSUANT TO FLORIDA <br />STATUTES CHAPTER 163.3161 F.T. SEQ. <br />WHEREAS, the County Commission of Indian River County <br />intends to adopt proposed public participation procedures required <br />by Florida Statutes Chapter 163.3161 et. seq. to accomplish <br />effective public participation in the adoption of the Local <br />Government Comprehensive Plan and elements thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA: <br />That the public participation procedures set out in <br />Florida Statutes Chapter 1.63.3161 et. seq. are hereby adopted <br />and will be complied with pursuant to law, and further <br />That certain joint public workshops between the Local <br />Planning Agency and the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County have been conducted in the past during the formulation <br />of the various elements of the Local Government Comprehensive Plan, <br />and such joint public workshops will be continued, as necessary, in <br />the future, and further <br />That documents and materials used in connection with the <br />development and adoption of the Local Government Comprehensive <br />Plan and elements thereunder will be made available to interested <br />citizens of Indian River County as these documents and materials <br />become available for public dissemination. <br />This Resolution shall become effective immediately. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By; <br />ATTEST <br />airman <br />--l;- <br />- C1, <br />Adopted:, January 14, 1981 <br />
