r; p <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81.- 7 <br />A RESOLU`T'ION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 80-126 <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, enacted Resolution No. 80-1.26 on November 19th, <br />1980, and <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 80-1.26 provided that each desig- <br />nated depository of the Commission be authorized and directed to <br />honor check warrants or other orders for the payment of money drawn <br />in the Commission's name, including those payable to the individual <br />order of any person or persons whose name or names appear thereon, <br />when bearing the signature of the Clerk, Freda Wright, and one <br />signature of either the Chairman or the Vice Chairman, and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 80-126 further provided that of the <br />two signatures, one must be an actual signature and one may be <br />a facsimile signature, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners of Indian River County, Florida, to amend the signature <br />and facsimile requirements for check warrants and other orders <br />for the payment of money drawn in the Commission's name: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that each depository <br />of the County Commission designated in Resolution No. 80-126 be, <br />and it is hereby requested, authorized, and directed that said <br />depositories honor check warrants or other orders for the payment <br />of money drawn in the Commission's name, including those payable tc <br />the individual order of any person or persons whose name or names <br />appear thereon, when bearing the facsimile signature of the Chair- <br />man of the County Commission and the facsimile signature of the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court, when said check warrants or other <br />orders for the payment of money equals or does not exceed the sum <br />of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00): <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if a check warrant or other order <br />for the payment of money drawn in the ConuA ssion's name exceeds <br />the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00), the depositories of <br />the Commission designated in Resolution No. 80-126 are authorized <br />
