RESOLUTION NO. 81- 51 <br />WHEREAS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY has previously passed <br />Resolution 79-50 and the CITY OF SEBASTIAN has passed Resolutions <br />79-6 and 79-16, copies of which are attached hereto, regarding <br />a traffic hazard near the interesection of State Road 512 and <br />U. S. No. l; and <br />WHEREAS, to date, no action has been taken by the Department <br />of Transportation in response to the Resolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation is again put on <br />notice as to the traffic hazard and request for action made by <br />the above Resolutions; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />requests that the traffic hazard be removed as set forth in <br />prior Resolutions attached hereto, and puts the Department of <br />Transportation on notice that the Board will not accept for. <br />maintenance State Road 512 until Lae hazard is abated and <br />the alignment corrected in such a manner as to eliminate the <br />current traffic hazard that exists. <br />************* <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the 5th <br />day of August , 1981• <br />BOARD 0' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />By <br />P trick T3:.
