RESOLUTION NO. 81-107 <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, in order to properly evaluate the need, com- <br />munity support and medical necessity for an EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES PROGRAM hereby establishes an advisory committee as <br />hereinafter set forth: and <br />WHEREAS, the Committee shall be known as the "INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE"; and <br />WHEREAS, the COMMITTEE shall meet from time to time at the <br />call of the Chairman for the purpose of evaluating all of the <br />alternatives concerning an EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM <br />and making recommendations to the Board as to the need, format <br />and desirability for an EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM <br />within Indian River County, Florida; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that there is <br />hereby established the "INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE", hereinafter referred to as <br />"COMMITTEE", which COMMITTEE shall be made up of nine (9) <br />voting members, with one member from each of the following <br />areas: <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD; <br />FIRE AND <br />SEBASTIAN VOLUNTEER/AMBULANCE SQUAD; <br />INDIAN RIVER SHORES DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY; <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT; <br />INDIAN RIVER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL; <br />SEBASTIAN RIVER MEDICAL CENTER; <br />SOUTH INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT; <br />INTERIM EMERGENCY MEDICAL CENTER DIRECTOR, who shall be <br />a physician; <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that each of the nine (9) areas above <br />above stated shall recommend to the Board of County Commissioners <br />a representative and the Board, by Resolution, shall appoint <br />
