RESOLUTION NO. 82- 57 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />® OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND <br />REQUESTING THE PROPERTY APPRAISER AND `PAX COLLECTOR <br />TO REMOVE A 2.2 ACRE PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE <br />TAX ROLLS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desired to <br />acquire a tract of property located on the southern portion of the <br />Barrier Island for the purpose of locating a storage tank- fo- the <br />new South Barrier Island water System and to further locate a fire <br />�® department substation, and <br />WHEREAS, Vero Mar Development, Ltd. was the owner of a <br />2.2 acre parcel which was suitable for this County purpose, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County elected to purchase the parcel from Vero Mar <br />Development, Ltd. and closed the transaction June 1, 1982. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Property <br />Appraiser and Tax Collector for Indian River County are authorized <br />and requested to remove the 2.2 acre parcel of real property <br />described in Exhibit A attached hereto, from the tax rolls of <br />Indian River County effective June 1, 1982. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Wodtke and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Absent <br />Vice -Chairman A. Grover Fletcher Aye <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons Aye <br />Commissioner William C.
