Knutson (cDNEE.com <br />772-233-2533 <br />12.13.22 <br />Florida City Gas plans to extend its reliable and efficient <br />natural gas service to Indian River County's barrier island <br />General Project Description <br />• FCG contracted with an intrastate pipeline company, Peninsula Pipeline <br />(PPC), to build an 11.5- mile intrastate pipeline extension to the barrier <br />island in Indian River County. <br />• The extension will consist of building a new pipeline from the existing PPC <br />intrastate line supplying FCG in northern Indian River County and will <br />cross the intracoastal waterway near the Wabasso Bridge and then extend <br />south in the right-of-way alongside A1A from CR 510 to the Beachland <br />Blvd area (commercial district) in Vero Beach. <br />• The PPC extension has received all state and local permits and is <br />scheduled to be complete, to include the underwater crossing, by March of <br />2023 <br />• The four receipt points to serve the barrier island and are as follows: <br />— Town of Orchid area - to include Windsor, Orchid Island Golf and Beach, <br />Seaglass, Sea Oaks, Disney Resort and Grand Harbor Beach Club. <br />— The Strand area — To include The Island Club, the Carlton, and northern Indian <br />River Shores communities. <br />— Indian River Shores area - To include the John's Island Community, the golf <br />clubhouse, beach club to include the beachside pool, and beachside condo <br />associations. <br />— Beachside commercial district of Vero Beach - Within the commercial, pp%rigt <br />' <br />there are numerous restaurants, hotels, condominiums, residential homes,am" <br />resorts to serve. <br />5•A <br />I a-- 13 -aaa� <br />5 A 1 <br />
