DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: January 20, 2023 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes <br />Resolutions have been prepared for the purpose of earmarking the public use of the following <br />properties and cancelling any delinquent, omitted or current taxes which may exist on the <br />properties obtained by Indian River County: <br />Public Purpose: Right -of -Way for RaceTrac #1422 Vero Beach Project <br />Location/Description: 33380200001005000001.0 - 8900 20TH ST <br />33380200001005000002.0 - 8990 20TH ST <br />Purchased from: RACETRAC, INC., a Georgia Domestic Profit Corporation <br />Instrument: Warranty Deed, recorded in Book 3594, Page 2315 of the <br />public records of Indian River County <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost associated with this item. <br />RECONMIENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the Resolution to <br />cancel certain taxes upon the properties purchased by or donated to Indian River County for a <br />public purpose, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of the Resolution to the Tax Collector and <br />the Property Appraiser so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />Warranty Deed <br />cc: Carole Jean Jordan - Tax Collector <br />Wesley Davis - Property Appraiser <br />116 <br />
