Billy Minnis Appointed North County Representative <br />to Parks and Recreation Committee <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, -SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously appointed <br />Billy Minnis as North County representative to the <br />Parks and Recreation Committee. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION ITEM - PROPOSED PURCHASE OF 56 <br />ATLANTIC GULF CO IES LOTS IN SEBASTIAY1UGHLANDS <br />SCRUB LAAC PRO. CT <br />Chief of Environmental Planning Roland DeBlois presented a <br />brief overview of environmental land purchaseD since the 1991 bond <br />referendum. Including the Oslo Riverfront project, bought jointly <br />with St. Johns River Water Management District, the County has <br />actually participated in purchasing approximately 800 acres of <br />environmental lands. He estimated that $7.5 million of the total <br />bond funds have been allocated.
