NOV 17 1982 <br />RESOLUTION NO. U--124 <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RESULTS OF A BOND <br />ELECTION HELD IN THE COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER, <br />FLORIDA, HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 1982. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") <br />of Indian River County, Florida (the "County"), by its Resolution, <br />duly and regularly adopted at its meeting held on the 1st day of <br />Septeouber, 1982, did call an election to be held on the 2nd day of <br />November, 1982, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified <br />electors residing within the County of Indian River, Florida, for <br />their approve..]. or disapproval of the question of whether the <br />Courity should issue general obligation bonds in the aggregate <br />principal amount of not exceeding $5,000,000, bearing in;,erest at <br />such rate or rates not exceeding the maximum legal rate fixed by <br />law and maturing serially in annual installments over a period not <br />to exceed thirty (30) years from the date of the bonds, and said <br />Resolution having further provided and did direct that notice of <br />said election be given by publication in accordance with law; and <br />WHEREAS, due and regular notice of said bond election has <br />been published in The Press Journal, a newspaper of general cir- <br />culation in the County, said publication having been made once <br />each week in the third and fifth week prior to the week in which <br />said special election was held, with the first publication <br />thereof being not less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of <br />said special election, to -wit: September 28 and October 12, <br />1982; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the aforesaid Resolution calling <br />said elAction and in accordance with law, the question in said <br />Resolution stated was submitted to the qualified electors residing <br />within said County for participation in the election on the date <br />specified in said Resolution, to -wit: November 2, 1982; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the quali- <br />f,ied electors residing in the County approve the issuance of such <br />general obligation bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the lists of qualified electors <br />-1- <br />
