RESOLUTION NO. 03-2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE <br />DONATION OF A 25,000 GALLON PER DAY SEWAGE <br />TREATMENT PLANT. <br />WHEREAS, the Angeles Corporation, which is owned by <br />Heritage Village, has approached the County with an interest in <br />donating a 25,000 gallon per day extended aeration sewage <br />treatment plant to the County, and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County Utility Department has <br />examined the treatment plant and has determined that the County <br />can put the equipment to good use and that the plant may be <br />capable of being used at the Blue Cypress Lake Recreation Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. Indian River County accepts the donation of a 25,000 <br />gallon per day extended aeration sewage treatment plant from the <br />Angeles Corporation, and <br />2. Indian River County expresses its appreciation for <br />the thoughtful donation by this corporation in an attempt to <br />reduce overall governmental costs. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Scurlock; and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was <br />as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird - Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. - Aye <br />Commissioner A. Grover Fletcher - Aye <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons - Aye <br />Commissioner William C.
