RESOLUTION NO. 83_4 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY C014MISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY DIRECTING COUNTY DEPOSI- <br />TORIES TO HONOR CERTAIN AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES <br />ON COUNTY WARRANTS AND OTHER ORDERS FOR PAYMENT. <br />WNF.AFiSTHE LOAn:, ^vi COUNTY COYj4ISSIGNERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY on January 5, 1983 held an election for the office of <br />Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the County Commission did nominate and select <br />RICHARD N. BIRD as CHAIRMAN and DON C. SCURLOCK, JR., as VICE <br />CHAIRMAN, and <br />WHEREAS, FREDA WRIGHT was elected CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY effective January 4, 1977, and also serves <br />as a CLERK TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS pursuant to <br />Florida Statutes Sec. 125.167, and <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reinstruct the County's <br />depositories as to the signatures necessary to honor County <br />warrants, checks or other orders for the payment of money drawn <br />in the Commission's name, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, sitting in regular session <br />that: <br />1. The County Commission has in the past designated <br />certain banking institutions as official depositories of County <br />funds, such designations are hereby ratified and affirmed, and <br />2. That each designated depository of the Commission is <br />hereby requested, authorized and directed to honor checks, <br />warrants or other orders for the payment of money drawn in the <br />Commission's name, including those payable to the individual <br />order of any person or persons whose name or names appear <br />thereon, when bearing the facsimile signature of the Chairman of <br />the County Commission and the facsimile signature of the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court, when said check warrants or other orders for <br />the payment of money equals or does not exceed the sum of.
