4 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83- 119 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 12-10.09 (F.A.C.) TO DESIGNATE <br />A BANK TO RECEIVE THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT HALF -CENT SALES <br />® TAX STATE WARRANT; AUTHORIZING THE BANK SO DESIGNATED <br />TO WIRE TRANSFER SAID LOCAL GOVERNMENT HALF -CENT SALES <br />TAX TO A BANK DESIGNATED BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TO <br />RECEIVE SUCH FUNDS; AND FURTHER TO AUTHORIZE THE BANK <br />DESIGNATED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO <br />DEDUCT THE COST OF THE WIRE TRANSFER FROM THE AMOUNT <br />RECEIVED FROM TRANSFER. <br />• 0 WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Revenue has adopted <br />Chapter 12-10.09 Wire Deposit of Local Government Half -Cent Sales <br />Tax Funds in the Rules of the Department of. Revenue, State of <br />Florida, and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County to receive the local <br />government half -cent sales tax funds by wire transfer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1. In accordance with §17.075, Florida Statutes and <br />Rule 12-10.09, (F.A.C.) the Florida Department of Revenue, is <br />authorized to designate a bank to receive the local government <br />half -cent sales tax State warrant; and <br />2. The bank so designated is authorized to wire trans- <br />fer said local government half -cent sales tax funds to the First <br />Citrus Bank of Indian River County or such other bank as hereafter <br />designated by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County to receive such funds, and <br />3. The bank designated by the Florida Department of <br />Revenue is authorized to deduct the cost of the wire transfer from <br />the amount received for transfer, and <br />4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon <br />its adoption. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Scurlock who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Lyons and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />-I-- <br />
