TUERK DRIVE; PRIDING FOR A TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, <br />MMM OF PAYMENTS OF ASSESSMENTS: NUMBER OF ANNUAL INSTALL- <br />AMD <br />NSTALL-A D 1ZGAL Dr.SCRI-YP.ION OP THE AREA SPECIALLY BENEFITED. <br />d WHEREAS, the Board of County Catrnissioners of Indian <br />River County has been approached by the Town of Indian River Shores to <br />assess those properties benefiting from the widening and paving improve- <br />ments proposed for State Road A -1-A fran Tides Road to Fred R. Tuerk <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Cotmi.ssioners has received <br />the request and has determined that the improvements are necessary and <br />in the best interest of the area and has determined that the improvement <br />will specially benefit abutting properties lying within certain unincorp- <br />orated areas within the limits of the project area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the best way <br />to apportion the cost of the inprovemer .'ts is by imposing a special <br />asses-nt under Ordinance 81-27. <br />WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the proposed inr- <br />provements lying within the unincorporated area of the project is <br />$25,384.10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board finds that the estimated cost may be <br />most reasonable apportioned against the benefit properties as follows: <br />1) $100.00 per Unit for each condominium unit, single family <br />dwelling, or other residential unit within the area specially benefited. <br />2) for undeveloped land, $100.00 per allowable unit as can- <br />puted in accordance with existing land use density adopted by the <br />Conprehensive Land Use Plan, within the area specially benefited; and <br />3) Indian River County shall pay $5,784.10 for the County Park <br />Prc• ray wiu,i;1 the specially benefited area; and <br />WHEREAS, all assessments shall become due and payable at <br />the Office of the Tax Collector of Indian River County ninety (90) days <br />after the final. determination of the special assessment pursuant to <br />Ordinance 81-27; and <br />WHEREAS, any special assessment not paid within said <br />ninety (90) day period shall bear interest beyond the due date at a rate <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners at the time of approval <br />of the final assessment roll, and sha11 be payable in two (2) equal <br />installments, the first to be made twelve (12) months frau the due date <br />and the second to be made twenty-four(24) months frau the due date; and <br />
