RESOLUTION NO. 84-19 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA SUPPORTING THE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY'S HOUSING AUTHORITY'S MULTI- <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Housing Authority has <br />approached the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County with a proposal to develop a mt,ltifAmily residential hous- <br />ing project within the unincorporated area of Indian River County, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the rules and regulations of the Department <br />of Community Affairs, Division of Local Resource Management, <br />Chapter 9-23, Section 9B-23.03 requires evidence of the local <br />government support of a proposed project in the form of a resolu- <br />tion prior to submitting an application to the Department of <br />Community Affairs for a loan of the necessary funds to acquire the <br />property. I <br />NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the County <br />supports the development of a multifamily residential housing <br />project to be located on 13.8 acres of land in Gifford north of <br />40th Avenue and south of Lindsey Road subject to future site plan <br />and developmental review under the Code of Laws and Ordinances of <br />Indian River County. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Bird who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Lyons and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Patrick B. Lyons Aye <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye <br />Commissioner William C.
