RESOLUTION 140. 84-36 <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE REFUNDING OF <br />CERTAIN OUTSTANDING REVENUE OBLIGATIONS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND THE CON- <br />STRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF ADDITIONAL COURT- <br />ROOM FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF <br />NOT EXCEEDING $1,000,000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />REVENUE BONDS (JUNIOR LIEN), SERIES 1984A, <br />TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF; AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF AND <br />INTEREST ON SUCH BONDS FROM THE RACE TRACK <br />FUNDS AND JAi ALAI FRONTON FUNDS ACCRUING <br />ANNUALLY TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />PURSUANT TO LAW AND CERTAIN INVESTMENT INCOME; <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA (hereinafter referred to as "Board"), <br />i that: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY FOR RESOLUTION. This resolution <br />is adopted pursuant_ to the provisions of Chapter 125, Florida <br />Statutes, Indian River County Ordinance No. 77-19, enacted August. <br />3, 1977, and effective August 9, 1977, as amended, Chapter 83-271, <br />Laws of Florida, Acts of 19133, and other ?pplicable provisions of <br />law. <br />SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS. The following terms shall have <br />the following meanings herein, unless the text otherwise expressly <br />requires. words importing singular number shall include the <br />plural number in each case and vice versa, and words importing <br />persons shall include firms and corporations. <br />A. "County" shall mean Indian River County, Florida. <br />B. "Board" shall mean the Board of County Coimnissioners <br />of Indian River County; Florida. <br />C. "Act." shall mean Chapter 125, Florida Statutes, <br />Indian River County Ordinance No. 77-i9, enacted August 3, 1977, <br />and effective August 9, 1977, as amended, Chapter 83-271, Laws of <br />Florida, Acts of 1983, and other anDlicahlP provisions of law. <br />D. "Resolution" shall mean this resolution. <br />E. "Bonds" shall mean the Capital Improvement. Revenue <br />Bonds (Junior Lien), Series 1984A, herein authorized to be issued. <br />F.
