■ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 - 41 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE COUNTRY CLUB <br />POINTE SUBDIVISION AS GOLF CART ROUTES. <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes, Section 316.212, permits local <br />i governments to designate and regulate roadways under their <br />jurisdiction for use by golf carts; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County maintains dedicated public roadways <br />in the Country Club Pointe Subdivision; and <br />•d + <br />WHEREAS, the Golf Cart Committee of the Vero Beach Country Club <br />has petitioned Indian River County to designate roads surrounding the <br />Vero Beach Country Club for use by golf carts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />1. Uniform standards for the determination of golf cart route <br />designation be adopted as follows: gulf cart routes shall be <br />functionally classified as local roads with a posted speed <br />limit not to exceed thirty (30) miles per hour and an average <br />daily traffic volume less than one thousand (1000) vehicles <br />per day. <br />2. County -maintained roadways listed below, having satisifed the <br />aforementioned uniform standards, be designated as golf car <br />routes in conformance with the provisions in Florida Statutes, <br />Section 316.212: <br />a. 30th Street from Country Club Drive to Calcutta Drive; <br />b. Golfview Drive from 30th Street to Par Drive; <br />c. Calcutta Drive; <br />d. Nassau Drive; and <br />e. Par Drive. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner —Wod tko <br />who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />_.Ly_Qn.F and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Don <br />C.
