• <br />of <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-47 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN WATER DISTRI- <br />BUTION IMPROVEMENTS IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA; EQUALIZING CERTAIN SPECIAL ASSESS- <br />MENTS AND LEVYING THE SAME AS SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENTS AGAINST BENEFITED PROPERTY IN <br />SUCH COUNTY; DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE <br />j BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO RECORD <br />`• SUCH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN THE IMPROVE- <br />MENT LIEN BOOK; ESTABLISHING PRIORITY OF <br />LIEN AND PAYMENT OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST <br />ON SUCH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS; AND PROVIDING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />i <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />i <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA (hereinafter called "Board" and <br />s <br />"County," respectively) that: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY FOR RESOLUTION. This resolution <br />is adopted pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 83-46 of <br />the County, applicable provisions of Chapter 170, Florida <br />Statutes (1983), and other applicable provisions of law. <br />SECTION 2. FINDINGS. It ;s hereby found and determined <br />as follows that: <br />i <br />A. In May 1984 the Board adopted Resolution No. 84-39 <br />a <br />approving tite assessment roll prepared by the consulting engi- <br />neers for the County and directing notice to be given by publica- <br />tion and by mail to the owners of the property described in such <br />Resolution No. 84-39 to be assessed, or any other persons <br />interested therein, and advising that the Board would meet as an <br />equalizing board on July 11, 1984, at 9:45 A.M. to consider <br />complaints as to the assessments appearing on the assessment <br />roll, subject to incidental changes, additions, substitutions and <br />modifications as shall be deemed advisable by the Board. <br />B. Such such notice both by publication and by mail was <br />duly had and given as required by law. <br />C. Such hearing was duly and regularly held on July 11, <br />1984, at 9:45 A.M. <br />D. The County and every owner of property listed on <br />such assessment roll, subject to such assessments, have entered <br />into an agreement whereby such assessments will, at the option of <br />the County, become due and payable in full on October 12, 1984, <br />-1- <br />
