•o <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84- 56 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR <br />STATUTORY PER DIEM COMPENSATION FOR 1984 PROPERTY <br />APPRAISAL ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting of August 1, 1984, <br />the Board of County Commissioners appointed Chairman Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman Patrick B. Lyons, and Commissioner <br />Richard N. Bird to serve as the County Commission's delegates to <br />the Property Appraisal Adjustment Board for the 1984 hearings; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The School Board of Indian River County <br />adopted Resolution No. 85-2 on July 27, 1984, appointing their <br />membership to the Board and providing for allowance of per diem <br />compensation for such members in accordance with Florida Statutes <br />4194.015 (1983); and <br />WHEREAS, the cited statute requires a specific <br />election from both the County Commission and The School Board in <br />order to allow such compensation. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS that: <br />1. The foregoing recitals, including the appointments <br />to this year's PAAB by the County Commission, are hereby ratified <br />and acknowledged; and <br />2. The above-named members of the 1984 Property <br />Appraisal Adjustment Board, or their duly authorized replacements, <br />may receive per diem compensation for service provided on the <br />Board, as allowed by law for State employees, pursuant to the <br />above-cited statute. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Wodtke who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Lyons and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don <br />C.
