40 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-97 <br />NON -EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE <br />CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY <br />0 0 WHEREAS, the C & J AMBULANCE TRANSFER SERVICE provides <br />quality non -emergency ambulance service to the citizens of Indian <br />River County; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that there is a need for <br />this ambulance service to operate in the County and provide <br />essential services to the citizens of this County on a <br />non-exclusive basis; and <br />WHEREAS, the above ambulance service has indicated that it <br />will comply with all the requirements of the Emergency Medical <br />Services Act of 1973, as amended; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA hereby issues a CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC <br />CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY to C & J AMBULANCE TRANSFER SERVICE <br />from December 15, 1984 to December 15, 1985 and that in issuing <br />this Certificate it is understood that the above named ambulance <br />service will meet the requirements of State Legislation and <br />provide non -emergency ambulance service for Indian River County. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By 4 � C - <br />DON Co SCURL CK, <br />ATT�ES�T t ; <br />FREDA WRIGHT, Cl <br />Adopted: November14, 1984 Y <br />
