•• <br />4W <br />®® <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85- 84 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR STATUTORY <br />PER DIEM COMPENSATION FOR 1985 PROPERTY APPRAISAL <br />ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEMBERS. <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting of August 7, 1985, the <br />Board of County Commissioners appointed Vice -Chairman Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Commissioner William C. Wodtke, and Commissioner <br />Margaret C. Bowman to serve as the County Commission's delegates <br />to the Property Appraisal Adjustment Board for the 1985 hearings; <br />and Chairman Patrick B. Lyons and Commissioner Richard N. Bird as <br />alternates; <br />WHEREAS, the School Board of Indian River County adopted <br />Resolution No. 86-03 on July 23, 1985, appointing their membership <br />to the Board and providing for allowance of per diem compensation <br />for such members in accordance with Florida Statutes §194.015 <br />(1983); and <br />WHEREAS, the cited statute requires a specific election <br />from both the County Commission and the School Board in order to <br />allow such compensation, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS that: <br />1. The foregoing recitals, including the appointments to <br />this year's PAAB by the County Commission are hereby ratified and <br />acknowledged; and <br />2. The above-named members of the 1985 Property Appraisal <br />Adjustment Board, or their duly authorized replacements, may <br />receive per diem compensation for services provided on the Board, <br />as allowed by law for State employees, pursuant to the above-cited <br />statute. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commmissioner <br />Bird who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Wodtke and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Patrick B. Lyons Absent <br />Vice -Chairman Don C.
