s <br />O <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86- 12 <br />® A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />TRANSMITTAL OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT APPLI- <br />CATIONS, STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS, AND THE RECOMMEND- <br />ATIONS OF THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY TO THE DEPART- <br />MENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />FOR A MANDATORY NINETY DAY REVIEW PERIOD. <br />of <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 163 of the Florida Statutes, <br />requires that local governments prepare and adopt Compre- <br />hensive Plans, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has <br />adopted a Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Florida Statutes, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes provide for the amendment <br />of Comprehensive Plans twice per calendar year, and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />sitting as the local planning agency, has held public hear- <br />ings and made recommendations concerning these amendments, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes require that the Board of <br />County Commissioners pass a resolution authorizing the <br />transmittal of Comprehensive Plan Amendments to the Depart- <br />ment of Community Affairs of the State of Florida for a <br />mandatory ninety day review period, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />the enclosed Comprehensive Plan Amendment applications, staff <br />recommendations, and the recommendations of the local plan- <br />ning agency are hereby authorized for transmittal to the <br />Department of Community Affairs for a mandatory ninety day <br />review period. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commis- <br />sioner Wodtke who moved its adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Bowman and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />
