RESOLUTION NO. 85- 136 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR <br />CHANGES TO THE CURRENT FEE SCHEDULE FOR LAND USE <br />PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING APPLICATIONS AND <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF APPLICATION FEES FOR AMENDMENTS <br />TO THE TEXT OF THE ZONING CODE AND ELEMENTS OTHER <br />THAN THE LAND USE PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Zoning Code requires the <br />establishment of fees by resolution of the Board of County <br />Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 163 of the Florida Statutes requires that <br />local governments provide for applications to amend Comprehensive <br />Plans at least once per calendar year; and <br />WHEREAS, the fee schedule established herein is to cover <br />some of the notice, advertising, and administrative costs in- <br />curred in the required review and hearing processes associated <br />with the applications and requests for which fees are hereby <br />being established; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency, has considered the proposed fee schedule <br />and has recommended approval; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that: <br />The following fee schedule is established: <br />Land Use Plan Combined <br />Amendment Land Use Plan <br />Size of Parcel Rezoning Fee CPA Fee and Rezoning Fee <br />Less than 5 acres $400 $500 $700 <br />5 -to -40 acres $500 $600 $900 <br />41 -to -100 acres $650 $750 $1200 <br />More than 100 acres $750 + $50 $850 + $50 $1350 + $50 <br />for each for each for each <br />additional additional additional <br />25 acres 25 acres 25 acres <br />Application for amendment of element <br />other than Land Use Plan $500 <br />Proposed amendment to text of Zoning Ordinance $500 <br />The foregoing resolution/was offered by Commissioner <br />Scurlock who moved its adoption.
