Academic Outcomes for Summer 2022: <br />• Count to 31— increased from 59% to 72°0; 22% Growth <br />• Identify Numbers to 20 — increased from 47% to 61Y6, 30% Growth <br />Goal 3: Students will demonstrate a 25% growth rate as measured by the pre- and post- <br />social/emotional/behavioral progress rating. <br />Baseline: Baseline data was generated using pre -assessment at the start of the 2022 summer <br />program during the 3rd quarter of the grant award. <br />Social/Emotional Outcomes for Summer 2022: <br />• Organizes Time, Tasks, and Materials —increased from 31% to 80°o; 158% Growth <br />• Demonstrates Respect for Property, Self, and Others —increased from 14% to 90% <br />543% Growth <br />• Works Cooperatively in Groups — increased from 16% to 88%; 450% Growth <br />• Actively Listens and Responds — increased from 35% to 75%; 123% Growth <br />A note about tracking progress: <br />Students were instructed in both whole group and small group settings, emphasizing a <br />developmentally appropriate, hands-on approach to learning. Pre and post assessments aligned <br />to the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for Four -Year -Olds and the B.E.S.T. <br />standards for Kindergarten in English Language Arts and Mathematics were used. In addition, <br />pre- and post -assessments aligned to the first quarter SDIRC Kindergarten expectations were <br />utilized to measure students' progress. At the conclusion of the program, an outcome sheet <br />was shared with partners (attached). <br />Program Implementation Progress: <br />The 2022 STEP into Kindergarten program was implemented at the following sites during the <br />summer of 2022: Fellsmere Elementary School, Treasure Coast Elementary School, and Vero <br />Beach Elementary School. The program commenced for students on June 6, 2022 and <br />concluded July 1, 2022. A total of 205 students were served during this year's program <br />implementation. <br />.E <br />
