10/13/86 UTIL LMA:h <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING A NEW <br />WATER RATE FOR GENERAL <br />DEVELOPMENT UTILITIES, INC., TO <br />INCLUDE PASS-THROUGH AMOUNTS FOR <br />COUNTY WATER PURCHASES. <br />THIS MATTER comes before the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County following a duly notified and published <br />hearing where the Commission, having heard testimony of all <br />interested parties, and having thoroughly reviewed and analyzed <br />the recommendation of County staff, now adopts the findings and <br />conclusions as set forth in the staff report dated September 11, <br />1986, and attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT: <br />1. the General Development Utilities, Incorporated, current <br />application for rate pass-through is hereby terminated and <br />marked closed. <br />2. the authorized rate include a pass-through of the following <br />items: <br />2a. Base facility charge of $5.34 per Equivalent <br />Residential Unit. <br />2b. Water purchase at a rate of $1.72 per 1,000 gallons. <br />This, added to the net adjusted current charge of $1.00 <br />per 1,000 gallons, makes the total adjusted charge for <br />consumption at $2.72 per 1,000 gallons. <br />3. General Development Utilities, Incorporated, amend its water <br />tariff to state that the water meters will be read on a <br />timely basis and, if the bill is estimated, the words <br />ESTIMATED BILLING will show on the face of the bill. <br />THIS ORDER SHALL BE EFFECTIVE with the first meter readings <br />after November 1, 1986, and after the billing cycle for which <br />those readings are applicable. <br />-1- <br />
