THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />FOR LIFT STATION REHABILITATION SERVICES <br />This Third Amendment to that certain Agreement to provide Lift Station Rehabilitation <br />Services is entered into effective as of May 16, 2023 by and between Indian River County, a political <br />subdivision of the State of Florida ("County") and Hinterland Group, Inc. ("Contractor"). <br />BACKGROUND RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Contractor entered into an Agreement for Lift Station <br />Rehabilitation Services effective June 4, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the second term commenced effective as of June 4, 2022 and will end on June 3, 2024; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the General Requirements detailed in the Invitation to Bid. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and other good and valuable consideration, <br />the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the County and the Contractor agree as <br />follows: <br />1. The background recitals are true and correct and form a material part of this First Extension and <br />Second Amendment. <br />2. Bonds & Insurance Requirements in the Technical Specifications of the Invitation to Bid are <br />modified as follows: <br />Method of Measurement: Payment under this section shall be on a lump sum (LS) basis and shall <br />include all compensation for providing and maintaining bonds an insurance for the project duration in <br />accordance with the Contract documents and General Conditions. <br />r-equiFed for eaeh work order- ever- $ 100,000. <br />3. All other terms and provisions of the Agreement shall be unchanged and remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />88 <br />
