IIS -95 -14 -CS
BACKGROUND
On October 3, 1995, the Indian River County Board of County
Commissioners approved a contract with Treasure Coast Contracting,
Inc. for the above -referenced project. (See attached agenda item
and minutes) The project is now complete and the Utilities
Department is prepared to make final payment to the contractor.
ANALYSIS
The original contract was in the amount of $154,738.00. The change
order reflects an increase of $2,600.00, equating to a revised
contract amount of $157,3.38.00. The additional cost is associated
with the necessitated relocation of an existing force main at the
lift station site and the installation of an additional air release
valve.
RECON14ENDATION
The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the
Board of County Commissioners approve both the final pay request
and change order as presented.
dee ed RReGTP o,0
3k Rg t C, 3 l (.-
JUNE 4. 1996 ft -
