Following the submittal, <br />we shall complete any required additional rounds of responses following the first round based on hours <br />expended multiplied by the appropriate job classification rate set forth in Exhibit 1 attached to the <br />Agreement for a fee not to exceed $2,710.00. <br />Task D — Soils Engineering Services <br />Masteller & Moler, Inc. shall use the services of our soils engineering sub -consultant KSM Engineering & <br />Testing to provide soil engineering services for the project as follows: <br />• Perform one (1) soil boring to a depth of 20' below grade within the limits of the proposed dry <br />retention area; <br />• Perform one (1) "Usual Open Hole" constant head permeability test up to a depth of 5' below <br />grade within the limits of the proposed dry retention area; <br />o Obtain (1) soil sample for each strata encountered; <br />o Perform laboratory testing and engineering calculations to determine the saturated <br />permeability coefficient "Ksat" value for each sampled stratum; <br />• Obtain (1) sample for each encountered stratum from a depth range of 6' to 20' below grade; <br />o Perform laboratory testing and engineering calculations to determine the saturated <br />permeability coefficient "Ksat" value for each sampled stratum. <br />o Perform (1) Sieve Analysis (includes Fines Content Test) for each sampled stratum <br />(includes sampled stratum from the first 5 feet below grade). <br />o Perform laboratory testing and engineering calculations to determine the Coefficient of <br />Uniformity "Cu", Coefficient of Curvature "Cc" for each stratum, and, if applicable, the <br />fineness module for the soil profile. <br />• Provide a report detailing all findings and conclusions as to the suitability of the subsurface soils <br />per IRC requirements for the project. <br />Task E — Supporting Permits <br />Masteller & Moler, Inc. shall secure the supporting permits for the proposed work from the following <br />agencies: <br />• Indian River County Public Works —Type A SWMS Permit (Review fee of $ 850.00) <br />• SJRWMD 10-2 Self -Certification (Review fee TBD) <br />• Tree Removal Permit (Review fee of $200.00) (If Required) <br />• Land Clearing Permit (Review fee of $120.00) (If Required) <br />Permit application fees are included for reference only and are excluded from this Work Order. <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
