4D <br />• <br />1.07 STORAGE AND PROTECTION <br />r <br />� A. Stara products in accordance with manufacturer's <br />instructions, with seals and labels intact and <br />t <br />legible. <br />B. Store sensitive products in weather -tight <br />enclosures; maintain within temperatures and <br />humidity ranges recommended/required by <br />manufacturer's instructions. <br />C. For exterior storage of fabricated products, place <br />on sloped supports above ground. Cover products <br />subject to deterioration with impervious sheet <br />covering; provide ventilation to avoid <br />condensation. <br />D. Store loose granular materials on solid surfaces in <br />a well -drained area; prevent mixing with foreign <br />matter. <br />E. Arrange storage to provide access for inspection. <br />Periodically inspect to assure products are <br />undamaged, and are maintained under required <br />conditions. <br />F. After installation, provide coverings to protect <br />products from damage from traffic and construction <br />operations, remove when no longer needed. <br />1.08 PRODUCT OPTIONS <br />A. Within 30 days after date of Contract, submit <br />complete list of major products proposed, with name <br />of manufacturer, trade name and model. <br />B. Options: <br />1. Products specified only be reference standard: <br />Any product meeting that standard. <br />2. Product specified by naming several <br />manufacturers: Product of any named <br />manufacturer meeting specifications. <br />3. products specified by naming one or more <br />manx.tfacturers and "or equal". Submit a request <br />for substitution for any manufacturer not <br />specifically named. <br />1.09 SUSSTITUTIONS <br />A. only within 30 days after date of Contract will <br />Engineer consider requests from Contractor for <br />01600-3 <br />
