C-1 <br />C> <br />' C. Should Engineer determine that the work is not <br />substantially complete: <br />I. Engineer will promptly notify the Contractor, <br />in writing, giving the reasons <br />2, contractor shall remedy the deficiencies in <br />the work, and shall send a second written: <br />notice of substantial completion to Engineer <br />3. Engineer will reinspect the work <br />D. When Engineer concurs that the work is <br />substantially complete, he will: <br />1. Prepare a Certificate of Substantial <br />Completion, accompanied by a list of items to <br />be completed or corrected <br />2. Submit the certificate to owner and Contractor <br />for their written acceptance of the <br />responsibilities assigned to them in the <br />certificate <br />1.03 FINAL INSPECTION <br />A. When contractor considers the work is complete, he <br />shall submit written certification that: <br />1. Contract Documents have been reviewed <br />2.. Work has been inspected for compliance with <br />Contract Documents <br />3. Work has been completed in accordance with <br />Contract Documents <br />4. Equipment and systems have been tested in the <br />presence of the Owner's representative and are <br />operational <br />5. Equipment and systems instructions to Owner's <br />personnel have been completed in accordance <br />with Section 01730 <br />6. Work ib completed and ready for final <br />inspection <br />B. Engineer will make an inspection to verity the <br />status of completion with reasonable promptness <br />after receipt of such certification. <br />C. Should Engineer consider that the work is <br />incomplete or defective: <br />I. Engineer will promptly notify the contractor, <br />in writing, listing the incomplete or <br />defective work <br />01704-1 <br />
