Mechanical joints shall <br />conform to AWWA specification C110 (ANSI 21.10-87), or <br />latest revision. All aboveground fittings shall be <br />flanged joint. <br />B. <br />The pressure rating shall be 250 psi for fittings up to <br />12 inches and a minimum of 150 psi for larger sizes. <br />C. <br />All fittings shall be lined with the same material as <br />specified for the pipe as per paragraph 1.05. <br />1.05 <br />LINING AND COATING <br />A. <br />Unless otherwise indicated, all ductile iron pipe shall <br />be factory lined and coated. <br />B. <br />Limeq: All pipe shall be cement mortar lined and seal <br />coated in accordance with AWWA Standard C104 (ANSI. <br />A21.4^85), or latest revision. <br />C. <br />Coating: Unless specified otherwise, all pipe shall be <br />bituminous coated outside to a dry film thickness of at <br />bast 2 mil. <br />D. <br />Repair: Anywhere that the coating is removed purposely <br />or accidentally, the area shall be cleasied of any rust, <br />grease, and dirt and re -coated to a minimum dry film as <br />specified for the individual piece. <br />42625-2 <br />
