BOOK PAGE 291 <br />June 11, 1996 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, June 11, 1996, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Fran B. Adams, Chairman; Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Kenneth R. Macht; and John <br />W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and P. J. <br />Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Adams called the meeting to order. Reverend Pete <br />LaBarre, retired from Trinity Episcopal Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Chairman Adams led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />County Administrator Chandler requested that Item 7-I be <br />deferred. <br />Chairman Adams requested the addition of Item 13-A, discussion <br />regarding microwave towers. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously made the <br />above changes to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF AI NUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meetings of May 7 and -May 14, 1996. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meetings of May 7, 1996 <br />and May 14, 1996, as written. <br />JUNE 119 1996 1 <br />
