• <br />40 <br />1.: FIND is hereby added as a party to fhe Agreement and Exhibit A of the Agreement is <br />hereby amended by adding the following described land, known as the Flinn Property <br />(37.6 acres, Indian River County), Florida: <br />SEE EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED HERETO AND <br />BY REFERENCE MADE A PART HEREOF <br />2. The existing management plan for the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area shall be <br />amended within one (1) year to include management of the FLINN PROPERTY. This <br />amendment and all future amendments shall be approved by all parties in accordance with <br />the terms of the Agreement. No development shall occur on the FLINN PROPERTY that <br />is not included in the management plan. <br />3. The DISTRICT will assume primary management responsibilities on the FLINN <br />PROPERTY, subject to the availability of funds, for the following: <br />a. Assistance with land management activities as requested by the COUNTY. <br />4. FIND will, subject to the availability of funds, assist the COUNTY by providing <br />funding for invasive vegetation management on the FLINN PROPERTY. Funding will <br />be in the amount equal to FIND'S participation in the purchase of the FLINN <br />PROPERTY, which was twenty-five percent (25%). FIND may also provide funding <br />assistance to the COUNTY for the development of public recreational opportunities on <br />the FLINN PROPERTY. The funding provided may be up to fifty percent (50%) of the <br />total cost of improvements. <br />5. The COUNTY will assume primary management responsibilities, subject to the <br />availability of funds, for the following: <br />a. Maintenance and repair costs of the entrance roadway for the FLINN <br />PROPERTY. <br />b. Providing public recreational opportunities. <br />c. Providing day to day maintenance (e.g. garbage removal) and security for the <br />FLINN PROPERTY. <br />d. Removing invasivc terrestrial and aquatic plant species. <br />It is understood and agreed by the DISTRICT, F'..ND and (lie COUNTY that in each and <br />every respect the terms of the Agreement, except as amended hereby, shall remain <br />unchanged, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed by the DISTRICT, <br />FIND and the COUNTY. <br />
