To ensure that emergencies are highly distinguishable, up to 112 emergency alarms are <br />indicated, both audibly and visually, in several different areas on the screen. <br />Supervisory C3 Nlaestro consoles are allowed special privileges, including the capability to pre- <br />empt other dispatch console communications and disable console positions. <br />Options and Accessories <br />The +C3 Maestro offers several optional features, including various user interfaces to the console, <br />the capability to define screen layouts, Enhanced Auxiliary UO functionality, Request -to -'Falk, <br />Status Messaging, Manual Paging, Tracking Modules, 'Signal Tone, and Module Status. <br />User Interfaces <br />The dispatcher may select from three user interfaces: mouse, dispatch keyboard, or touchscreen. <br />The mouse is a user-fricsadly, flexible interface that provides point -and -click convenience. The <br />ergonomically designed dispatch keyboard provides fast response and tactile feedback. For <br />customers with limited space, the touchscreen is an effective method for the dispatcher to control <br />operations with the touch of a finger. <br />User -Defined Screens (UDS) <br />User -defined screens allow customers to manually create the screen layout best suited to their <br />needs. These layouts may be copied to other consoles. <br />Enhanced Auxiliary 1/0 <br />Fnhanced Auxiliary Ito allows the customer to define up to 255 1/0 modules in a Fully loaded <br />CEC/1MC that permits access to certain input and output functions. <br />Request -To -Talk (RTT) <br />RTTis useful in situations where numerous radios are trying k) "speak" with a dispatcher at the <br />same time. RTT can save valuable air tinge by sending a message over the control channel instead <br />of using; one of the working channels. <br />Status and Message <br />Radio users can efficiently communicate their status or send a message to the dispatcher with this <br />powerful feature. The radio user pushes two buttons on the terminal, thereby sending a message <br />via the control channel.
