i <br />+B <br />Year 2000 Upgrade .1ANU IRY27, 1999 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />SCOPE <br />PRS is providing this Proposal to allow your PRS Category I and Category 3 Products to <br />achieve Year 2000 Readiness. To upgrade PRS Manufactured Products requires a two <br />step process. Step I is to verify and upgrade PRS Manufactured Products to current <br />hardware and software revisions. Step 2 is to install Year 2000 Ready PRS Sofhvare. The <br />following overview section below provides a detailed description of the PRS proposed <br />changes to your PRS Manufactured Products, subject always to the terms and conditions <br />of the Purchase Contract. <br />Overview <br />Transmit and Receive Stations <br />PRS has evaluated your equipment audit and has determined that the following PRS <br />software upgrade is required for your station/site, by itself, to become Year 2000 Ready: <br />• PRS Y2K GETC Soft%varc installation <br />Site Controller <br />Pl2S has evaluated your equipment audit and has determined that the following. PRS <br />software upgrade is required for your site controller, by itself, to become Year 2000 <br />Ready: <br />• PRS Y2K Site Controller SoltGvare installation <br />Master Voter <br />E=ach centrally voted EDACS product requires a Master Voter assembly. The Master <br />Voter employs "GE Trunking Cards" (GETC) that requires minimum hardware and <br />software revision levels to be able to interact with the outer components of EI?ACS. <br />Among other things, existing hardware in your Master Voter requires 1116 hardware and <br />software upgrades to provide Year 2000 headiness or the PRS Manufactured Products by <br />themselves.
