C1 Year 2000 Upgrade INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROCESS ROADMAP JANUAR r 27,1999 This Proposal package is based on audit information that you have provided to the Private Radio Systems Division of Ericsson Inc. (PRS). In response to your audit, PRS has identified those items, on the audit, that require actions to attain Year 2000 Readiness for certain PRS and other components in your system. PRS is providing this Proposal to allow your [IRS Category 1 and Category 3 products (as defined below) to achieve Year 2000 Readiness. To upgrade PRS products requires a two, step process. Step l is to verify and upgrade PRS Manufactured Products (as defined later) to current hardware and software revisions. Step 2 is to install Year 2000 Ready PRS Software. The following is a roadmap of the Sections within this Proposal and the contribution each Section provides to the overall offer. The Year 2000 Section identifies the process by which PRS has classified items for identification purposes and outlines the types of modifications and/or upgrades required by your PRS Manufactured Products. Additionally this Section recommends that you, the Buyer, consult with your own Year 2000 Readiness advisor. The Audit, which you have provided, is contained in the Exhibits area of this Proposal. The Audit indicates the current hardware revisions for PRS Manufactured Product in your syslcin and the PRS classification of those revisions. Each hardware item has been reviewed for Year 2000 Readiness issues, and has been individually identified by Category and shows a recommended remedy. Software remedies for all [IRS Manufactured Products is provided foxier in F.DACS FX Agreement, which is included with this Proposal. The prices of replacement items, identified from the Audit, are presented by Category and by Product Group in the "Pricing" Section of this Proposal. The Services subsection is a consolidated listing for all of the services offered as well as the cost for FX services required by your system, Wally. Any options offered are to enhance the basic functionality of the 1'RS Manufactured Products required by your system to attain Year 2000 Readiness (i.e. larger CRT lVlonitors or Enhanced keyboards). • The "Bill Of Material" Section provides a listing of the PRS Manufactured Products and services specific to your system by Product Group.
