C> <br />• <br />4.6 Simulselect <br />Setup <br />This test applies to Level 1 (Single Site, Simulcast, and Voted) sites only. <br />Program four test groups. The groups must not be fleets or agencies. <br />Have on hand 2 radios programmed to 2 of the test groups and logged on to <br />s itc . <br />Execution <br />1. Create a 4 group Simulseiect on the 4 test group modules. Verify that <br />the ACTIVE indicator (i.e. S1 displayed in each module) for <br />SIMULSELECT 1 comes ON and the SELECT indicators of the 4 group <br />modules are ON and highlighted, respectively. <br />2. Un -select SIMULSELECT 1 and verify that the active indicator goes <br />OFF. <br />3. Re -activate SIMULSELECT 1. Verify that the ACTIVE indicator comes <br />ON. <br />4. Modify SIMULSELECT 1 by removing two of the groups in the <br />Simulselect. This results in a two group Simulselect. Verify that the <br />ACTIVE and SELECT indicators of the two remaining {croups are ON <br />and highlighted, respectively and the ACTIVE and SELECT indicators <br />of the two deleted groups are OFF. <br />5. Set one radio on each of the test groups in the Simulselect and turn <br />scan off. Activate and select SIMULSELECT 1. Key one of the radios <br />on its test group. Verify that the call is heard at the select speaker <br />and not at the other radio. <br />6. Repeat the previous step, except key the other radio. <br />7. Transmit from the console on SIMULSELECT 1. Verify that audio is <br />heard at both radios. <br />Page 19 of 28'. <br />
