• <br />r <br />5. CENTRALIZED TELEPHONE INTERCONNECT CALLS <br />Y2K Functional Test Procedure Vmion: Rev. B <br />Last Modification Date: Jan 1 1998 <br />5.9 Radio Originated Interconnect Cat! <br />Setup <br />This test requires a radio, one phone with known phone number, and a <br />System Manager with screen 32 selected. <br />Execution <br />1. From radio, place a call to phone and observe that the call is assigned <br />a channel on the System Manager Site Monitor screen. Ringing should <br />occur at Phone. <br />2. Answer phone, and talk. Audio should be heard at radio. PTT radio <br />and talk. Audio should be heard at phone. <br />3. Terminate the call from the radio and observe that call ends and <br />channel is released from Interconnect. <br />4. From radio, recall the prestored number to call phone, and PTT. <br />Observe a channel is assigned for the call on the System Manager Site <br />Monitor screen. Ringing should be heard at phone. <br />5. Answer phone; audio should be heard at radio. PTT radio and talk. <br />Audio should be heard at phone. <br />6. Select another site for radio and repeat the steps 1 thru 4. Monitor <br />the second site with screen 32 of the System Manager Monitor. <br />i. Terminate the call from the radio. <br />8. Repeat the steps 1 thru 2 and continue the call until the channel times <br />out. Verify that the radio receives the dropout alert tone (only in <br />analogue calls). <br />9. Repeat the previous steps for each channel configured for <br />interconnect, <br />10. It applicable„ repeat previous steps for digital voice. <br />
