410 <br />40 <br />Deadline and Submission Requirements <br />A. The Department will publish a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and an initial application <br />deadline fpr the Economic Development category in the Florida Administrative Weekly (FAVi). <br />Applications must be received by tate Department, whether mailed or delivered, at the followirry <br />address: <br />Division of Housing and Community Development <br />2555 Shumard Oak Boulevard, Room 260 - N or 260 - A. <br />Tallahassee, Flodda 32399-2100 <br />B. Applications will be accepted any time after the initial application deadline, subject to <br />availability of funds. <br />C. Local governments must submit two copies of the complete application to the Department, at <br />least one of which must have original signatures. Both copies should be spiral bound or <br />stapled with no hard cover. <br />D. Complete all blanks because missing or incorrect information will negatively affect the score. <br />E. If appropriate, show the numerator and denominator of each fraction, and the multiplier and ttre <br />multiplicand of each calculation. <br />F. Round all calculations to TWO decimal places. <br />G. Sequentially number the page and appendices. <br />It. Intergovernmental Coordination and Review (IC&R) <br />A. All local governments applying for CDBG funds must comply with the Intergovernmental <br />Coordination and Review (IC&,R) process. By the date the application is received by the <br />Department, must have mailed fifteen copies of the following information to the Florida State <br />Clearing House, Department of Community Affairs, 2555 Shumard Oak Boulevard, Tallahassee, <br />Florida 32399.2100: <br />1. The Application Summary (CDBG-E-2); <br />2. All (Naps (CDBG-E•7 ); and, <br />3, Historic Preservation Checklist (CDBG-E-8). <br />B. In addition, by the date the application is received by the Department, the local government must <br />have submitted one additional copy of the IC&R materials to the Regional Planning Council that <br />serves the local government. <br />C. A transmittal letter must accompany the IC&R materials which the local government is sending <br />to the State Clearing House. In this letter, request that the State Clearing House send to the <br />CDBG Section of the Department, complementary copies of any correspondence that they may <br />send to the local government. If needed, request chat the State Clearing House send copies to <br />other parties as desired by the local governmenl, such as consultants and engineers. <br />
