CDI33-E-9: ASSURANCES, CERTIFICATIONS AND SIGNATURES (CONTINUED) By signature of this application, the focal government certifies that the following statements are true and the documentation is on file with the local government and available for public Inspection. Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, requires this. The Department may request copies of some of these items if questions arise during the site visit. These materials must be available in the following order in a three -hole punched binder at the time of the site visit. The local govemment must maintain this binder if the Department awards a grant to the local government. This binder will become part of the permanent CDBG records. Any changes made after the site visit must be incorporated into the binder. Instructions: The local government applicant must answer the following questions and complete the requested information as appropriate. Department staff will use the column to the left during the site visit.
